SG Wireless

SGWireless SG Wireless automatically logs on to hotspots in Wireless@SG, NUS and NTU.

The app will remember your hotspot provider, username and password. Each time you start SG Wireless, the app will immediately logs on to the connected hotspot! One click is all you need to get connected!

SG Wireless is similar to paid apps such as AutoWiFi, Easy Wi-Fi and devicescape. However, SG Wireless is FREE. Download it from App Store today! You may also try 1-Click Wireless@SG, also a free app that has the same purpose as SG Wireless.

Words from the developer

SG Wireless was developed to solve one problem with Wireless@SG – clumsy and slow login. I developed SG Wireless just to solve this problem, but it probably would not work for all hotspots!

I can only claim that it works in Northpoint, Yishun and selected areas in NUS and NTU

As every providers (QMax, Singtel, iCell) have different login behaviours and their deployed hotspots could have different versions, it makes the work very difficult. If you encounter any problem, please send the details to our support. You can also feedback at GetSatisfaction.

Get connected, and have fun (:

hi, your app works on wireless@SG but not in NTU.

Not sure what's the problem but it doesn't auto key in password even though the 3GS was already connected to the wireless (NTUWL).

I tried AutoWIFI Lite which works, so probably your app has some bugs.

Would be great if you could solve this problem and also improve the GUI.

    Thanks!

hi i have problem connecting to then NUS hotspots using os 3.0. the phone doesnt seem to auto detect the wifi so the icon remains 3g, that's why the app cant auto log in. is there anyway to get around that or am i the only one to face this problem?
  • The app does not switch on your wifi nor connect to the access point automatically. You have to ensure that your Wifi is on, there is a workable access point within your range and has it connected.
